Insects

Ants are eusocial insects of the family Formicidae and, along with the related wasps and bees, belong to the order Hymenoptera. Ants evolved from vespoid wasp ancestors in the Cretaceous period. More than 13,800 of an estimated total of 22,000 species have been classified.

Spiders are air-breathing arthropods that have eight legs, chelicerae with fangs generally able to inject venom, and spinnerets that extrude silk. They are the largest order of arachnids and rank seventh in total species diversity among all orders of organisms.

China, Turkey, United States, India and Argentina are the main countries. Honey is produced in many other countries.

Medicinal Properties:

Honey, produced from nectar and pollen by bees, has been used for centuries for its medicinal properties.
Possible medicinal properties of honey include:

1.Antibacterial and Antimicrobial:
Honey has natural antibacterial properties due to its low water content and acidic pH. It helps prevent the growth of bacteria and microorganisms and is useful in treating wounds and preventing infections.

2. Wound healing:
Honey is applied topically to heal wounds and burns. A medicine that can create a moist skin environment that promotes tissue regeneration and reduces scarring.

3. For cough and throat relief:
Honey is used to soothe sore throats and suppress coughs. It helps to calm the anger and provide temporary relief.

4. Antioxidant Properties:
Honey contains antioxidants such as flavonoids and phenolics that help control oxidative stress and reduce cell damage.

5. Digestive Health:
A medicine used to relieve human digestive problems and as a mild laxative. It is also a good medicine for constipation.

6. Allergy Relief:
There is some evidence that locally sourced honey can help reduce allergy symptoms as it may contain small amounts of pollen that can weaken the immune system.

However, scientific evidence supporting these facts is limited. It is important to note that the medicinal properties of honey can vary depending on its source and processing. Raw or unprocessed honey is generally considered to have more beneficial compounds compared to highly processed commercial honey. However, it is believed that honey should not be given to babies under one year of age. As with any natural remedy, it is advisable to consult a health care professional before using honey for medicinal purposes.
