 Rabbits

country of origin:

Rabbits have a complicated history. The European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) is native to the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) and France. However, they live in many countries around the world.

Caste:

Rabbits have no caste system. They are solitary animals, and they are kept in domestic environments, as pets.

Countries of residence:

An animal species that lives in many countries. Raised in many countries as domesticated animals and as pets. Forests range from single-dwelling, small grasslands to dense forests. They are a very innocent animal species that uses grass and plant stems as food.

Medicinal Properties: 

Ancient cultures have used different parts of the rabbit in their traditional medicine for various applications. But rabbits are not used for medicinal purposes. Although rabbit meat is consumed by people in different parts of the world, it is a food that is more nutritious than medicinal. In traditional medicine, the bones or other parts of the rabbit were used for various treatments, but there is no such use in modern western medicine.

This UK-based organization focuses on the conservation and welfare of domestic rabbits. Educate the rabbit's owners about care and care for their welfare.

European Rabbit Research Group:

They are dedicated to the conservation of the European rabbit, researching habitat loss and disease.

World Wildlife Fund (WWF): 

WWF conserves rabbits through the processes carried out in wildlife conservation.


Domestic cats

Common name: 
Domestic cat Country of Origin: Domestic cats are said to have originated in Central Asia in modern day Turkey and Iran. They originated specifically from the wild cat Felis silvestris lybica.
Caste:
Domestic cats do not have a caste system like some insects such as ants or bees. They are, however, domesticated individuals and inhabitants of multi-cat habitats or feral cats.
Countries of residence:
Found worldwide, they are domesticated and kept as pets in many countries and can thrive in a variety of environments, including urban, suburban and rural areas.
Medicinal properties
Allergy extracts and various cat-related products such as catnip (Nepeta cataria) are sometimes used in traditional medicine or as herbal remedies. Cats are used as pets for their therapeutic value, such as companionship and stress relief. Asians believe that burying cat carcasses under citrus trees increases their productivity.

IUCN assesses the conservation status of all wild cat species, including those in the Felis sylvestris complex, and works to develop conservation strategies for their protection.

US NGO working to rescue and rehabilitate large wild cat species as well as protect small wild cats.

Notes:
Domestic cats are protected by humans due to their association with humans, while much of the conservation focus is on wild cats and the ecosystems they inhabit.



Lions

A group of lions, their cubs and a few males residing in a pride. 
Country of Origin: 
Native to various countries throughout Africa including Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Botswana and many more.They are top predators in the wild, preying on hawks such as deer, buffalo, antelope, elk, and wild boar.

Medicinal Properties:
These animals and their parts have no medicinal properties. They are wild animals. Not used for medicinal purposes. In some cultures, various body parts of lions are mistakenly believed to have medicinal properties, but this is a myth used as a reason for illegal hunting and they are threatened with extinction. Various conservation organizations and institutions focus on protecting lions in their natural habitats.

Lion Conservation Organizations: 
Various conservation organizations and associations are dedicated to the protection and conservation of African lions. 

African Lion Conservation Foundation: Focuses on research and conservation efforts aimed at ensuring the survival of African lions and their ecosystems. 

African Wildlife Foundation: ( AWF ) 
works to conserve lions and their habitats.

World Wildlife Fund (WWF):
Supports anti-poaching activities and habitat conservation.

Panthera: 
Panthera is an organization dedicated to the conservation of African lions.

These organizations work against threats such as habitat loss, poaching and human-wildlife conflict facing African lions, ensuring their longevity.
